What is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy is a 100% natural, drug-free, non-invasive, relaxing treatment using a controlled environment that simulates the microclimate of a natural salt cave. Halotherapy is a natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antimicrobial treatment that provides effective, long-term relief from many conditions, including respiratory ailments, skin disorders, and behavioral challenges. Examples include seasonal allergies, asthma, eczema, psoriasis, anxiety, stress, and insomnia.
What can I expect during the Halotherapy sessions?
The Halo Den has been designed to help you leave your worries behind with the aid of soft lighting from the Himalayan salt walls and floor, peaceful music or relaxing meditation through provided headsets, and comfortable Zero Gravity lounge chairs. EBB will provide each guest with a robe, if desired, or you may wear your own comfortable clothing. EBB provides foot covers, which you can put over your bare feet or socks. We encourage clients to walk around on the salt pebbles for the added benefit of reflexology.
We encourage this quiet time to be used for relaxation or meditation. This will ensure a high-quality experience.
Food and beverages are not permitted in the Halo Den. If there is a medical condition that demands the use of water during the Halotherapy session, please alert the attendant on duty. A dry throat is sometimes experienced; this is a normal effect of the dry environment created by the therapeutic salt, which contains anti-inflammatory properties that break up mucus. EBB will provide you with bottled water following your session.
How long are the Halotherapy sessions?
You may choose a 25-minute or 50-minute session. You have the option to book the Halo Den for yourself (Relaxation Session, Solo) or share it with a friend (Relaxation Session for Two). You also may add a foot massage for the ultimate relaxation experience.
What time should I arrive for my Halotherapy session?
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will give you time to complete paperwork, visit the restroom, change into your foot covers, and situate your belongings into your own personal basket, then take a relaxation breath and prepare for your premier Himalayan Salt Therapy session in the Halo Den.
Please note: If you are unable to arrive on time, we will need to reschedule for the next available opening.
What is the EBB Halo Den Cancellation Policy?
Because halotherapy sessions are reserved specifically for you, a 24-hour advance notice is required to cancel any service with no charge. If your appointment is not cancelled within this notification period, your appointment is considered confirmed. If changes or cancellations are made after the 24-hour time frame, you will be subject to a charge for each service.
Who should not use the EBB Halo Den?
Halotherapy is safe for all ages. Salt therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment and diagnosis of any health condition. It is recommended that you seek medical advice relating to your health problems; do not neglect regular medical check-ups; and do not change or stop taking your medication and treatment without consulting the physician.
If you are experiencing the following, we advise against the use of the EBB Halo Den:
- An infection accompanied by fever
