Deep Tissue/Sports Massage
A Deep Tissue Massage is great for the person who is very active in sports or has a physically demanding lifestyle. This massage focuses on relieving tension in the deeper muscle tissues. This is a full body massage and you can choose a 60, 90 or 120 minute session. This is a great massage for the person who has had a lot of experience receiving massage.)
*According to the August 2005 issue of Consumer Reports magazine, 34,000 people ranked deep tissue massage more effective in relieving osteoarthritis pain than physical therapy, exercise, prescription medications, chiropractic, acupuncture, diet, glucosamine and over-the-counter drugs. Deep tissue massage also received a top ranking for fibromyalgia pain. People often notice improved range of motion immediately after a deep tissue massage.

Reflexology
This work is linked closely with Traditional Chinese Medicine and the five element theory. Reflexology is a modality that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the hands and feet. The reflex areas correspond to all of the glands, organs and systems of the body. Reflexology works on a person’s physical, mental and spiritual body. The nerve pathways in each foot create an electrochemical flow that communicates with the entire nervous system. Through application of pressure using specific thumb and finger techniques, Reflexology connects with the nervous system and encourages the body to relax. The techniques and specific procedures of reflexology are as complex and wonderful as massage, yet they are entirely different.

RoelsMethod Structural Bodywork™
RoelsMethod Structural Bodywork™ is an integrated application of massage and bodywork therapies to facilitate clients to heal themselves. Techniques include Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial techniques, as well as Psychosomatic facilitation. This modality is suggested for the person who experiences acute or chronic pain and has tried other means to alleviate their symptoms with little to no success. In the beginning, your therapist may only treat 10-15 muscles in a 60 minute session. When symptoms have subsided one can get a full body massage that is specifically designed to maintain the overall health of their muscular system. We suggest 3-5 treatments to receive the optimal effect. This can vary based on how long the pain has been experienced, and how much the body and mind are currently stressed.
